Dear participants,

 

we wish to reiterate our most sincere thanks and appreciation for the generous efforts and the support we have received from the South African Golf Days 2005. Thanks to the generous donation we have been able to realise ideas for IMBEWU that are of significant importance to the projects and their beneficiaries:

 

A) Fund 50% of the salary - during two years - of our new community worker, Mrs. Lulu Nqabeni. She took up work on January 1st, 2006, and is a true field worker, spending all her time at the schools. With more than 200 children now sponsored, her job consists of doing a personalised and sustained assessment of each of the sponsored children’s school and family situation. This will help us get closer to the kids and help them with their direct needs and difficulties.

 

B) Fund the equipment of our soup kitchens in the three schools of Daniels, Mvisiswano /Mzomncane & Ndzondelelo where IMBEWU is active. The new kitchens are now up and running and we are proud to be able to feed 350 children (formerly 190) with the new material.
